Default Runaway Polaris 400

I have an o3 trailblazer that was sitting apart for 2 years needing fuel lines.Put the lines on this weekend and put it all together, primed big aftermarket carb fcr 44 w fogging oil an carb clean when it wouldnt start, seems it has a hard time starting w the big carb.it started I let it idle, took it for a little ride around property and down the street an back. Before I put it away I had it in neutral and was blipping the throttle revving it out ,the 5-6 time i did that it took off on the idle tp all the way open,I hit the off switch, turned key off pulled out choke and was fumbling around w the throttle.I thought it was gonna be a bomb and blow up on me finally it came down on idle and shut off.Question do you think I did any damage to it and what would cause it too take off and runaway like this on me.I gave it time to warm up there was no fuel left in the carb or tank for 2 years so whats the deal here? Also it didnt seize because pull start still works and engine is free and not seized,I was afraid to restart it and now Im even afraid to ride it.

did the carb slide stick open on you in the wide open throttle? other wise you might have a big air leak some where.
