Just bought a 2007 Raptor 700 (GYT-R), should I put on the GYR-T Oval Sport pipe?

Default Just bought a 2007 Raptor 700 (GYT-R), should I put on the GYR-T Oval Sport pipe?

I only paid $50 for it when I bought the bike the other day. It retails at my dealer for $363. They want $75 to remap the fuel.

Should I put it on over the stock pipe? Thoughts?

Thanks!!

Dyno tests show that a slip on isn't much different than the stock muffler with the insert removed. Other than good looks, you won't gain much , if anything.

An improved air filter setup/ lid removal would give you some gain, but figure on a fuel programmer, too.

The Power Commanders are the way to go, lots of maps are available, for almost any mod setup.

Great, thanks. Looks like I have some options...

1. Sell the GYT-R Oval Sport pipe outright
2. Put it on my Raptor 700r and don't use the power commander
3. Put it on with the power commander

first mod u should do is the power commader, imo u should look into a good set of duals (dmc force 4s, barker or moster)
