Default Where is the oil filter??

Hi everybody,

just got a used 110cc,horizontal engine automatic atv. I`m starting to get it all ready for my son for Christmas and I can not find where a supposed mesh oil filter is too remove and clean is??

If there is one can you tell me where it is ??

Welcome to the forums.

I would almost bet it doesn't have a filter, but a screen on the drain plug. Do you know what brand the atv is? Maybe someone here has that particular one and can verify that for you.

its inside the engine block its a screen kind of a pain to get at, -.-.

Question oil filter

Thanks guys,

Its a chinese utility ATV.I found a manual on line and it describes a mesh filter to remove and clean but no pictures to show where it is.Just a drawing that I cant make any sense from.Looking on the outside of the engine I cant see anything.I mean there are 2 covers on the engine-the one with the clutch and oil fill and the one with the electrical stator and rotor(I assume) Is it accessed by removing one of these covers??

its under the clutch cover at the bottom and ull see it closer to the front it dosent do much its just to filter out big particles im looking for a upgrade like an actual filter
