Default Can-Am DS 450 Modification Arrives

Hey guys,

We got a brand new article up on the website. Here's a little snippet to tide you over:

Together they pushed the envelope by stroking the OEM crankshaft + 8mm (68.8mm overall stroke), balanced to a 14:1 high compression stroker piston.

There are dyno charts listed on Falicon's website. Very Impressive, I've never seen a DS450 hit over 60 hp before this and they say there's a lot left.

I pulled the 450 apart and studied it for quite some time before developing this kit. Its a well designed motor but is begging for extra cc's. The factory port is very nice but I was able to improve on it quite a bit judging from the dyno results. The exhaust cam is pretty good so I only changed the intake cam for this build.

Here are some prices:
8mill Falicon stroker with knife rod $1100
stroker piston $300
billet intake cam $345
beehive spring kit with titanium retainers $225
stage 1 porting $600

These items can be purchased seperately. You do not have to buy the entire kit but this combo is what added 17hp over stock.
