Default Best All around tires for Xplorer 400

I'm currently running the carlisle at489, which came stock on my 2000 Polaris Xplorer 400. This meaning there about 10 years old. Needless to say there is some wear. Both rears have a plug a piece in them. I'm looking to uprgrade and need some suggestions. I do a lot of dry/wet trail riding with the occasional mud holes, creeks, and hill climbing. I want something that can attack all terrains pretty tough. I am an aggressive rider and love challenges but don't want a tire for any one extreme, just looking for a good overall tire. I live in W. PA and plan on running my machine throughout the winter and we get some pretty big snowfalls (although i've hear it will be a mild winter around here) so if they can handle the snow, that would be a definite plus. Does anyone have similar models with pics of their tires?

I liked the GBC Gators I had on my old 96 Sportsman400.Good aggressive tire, great in mud and hard pack trails sucked in deep sand.
Also liked the Goodyear Rawhides I had on my 2001 400 Sportsman.Decnt tire but not as aggressive as the Gators

For the money look at Kenda Bearclaws, fairly agrressive, TOUGH 6ply tire very reasonable on price, Ive put several sets on wheelers I work on for ranchers here in Wyo, cant beat them for the price, I get them from Rocky mtn Atv.

X3 on the Bearclaws. Great tire for the price, and extremely tough, but not overly heavy. They do run short, so you may want to go with 26" on your Explorer.
