Warrior starting issues
#1
I have a Warrior I've been playing with over the past few months. The quad will not start. I have spark, fuel, and great compression. When I turn the quad over ever now and then I will get a backfire through the carb. Just let's a puff out back into the air box. I've checked timing a bunch of times and it seems to be right on. Woodruff key is also intact and not damaged in any way. Had the carb apart multiple times and cleaned it all up. Any idea what the problem could be?

you probably need to check the clutch because the starter engages with it which is called reduction clutch. Try that out, im not an expert on the warrior but i am on the raptors. Try that out, i'll probably have to ask my neighbour. He owns a warrior too.

even if that was acting up, it would still start, mine did when mine was acting up, i went over everything on my whole quad before realizing it was the parking brake. i'm almost wondering if the wiring hooked up to the starter is correct? maybe its trying to crank it backwards? sounds silly but you never know. but it could also be the coil, stator, or cdi box
