got this quad in trade, 89 warrior 350, nice shape, clean, when i crank it with the plug grounded to the head i get one single bright white spark and thats it. try it again and same thing. pulled the side cover and the stator etc look fine, really clean, no wear. cleaned the coil ground, nothing different, still throws a single bright white spark once in awhile and thats it. any ideas???

 

Have you tried a new plug?

 

yup, brand new plug. testing with a test light ive got no power to the coil at all

 

have u tried pushing the ornage wirer in some more on the side of the IGNITION COIL in the front of the quad.

 

got it to run today, no idea what i did, bogs like hell if you touch the gas, idles high, valves sound like a bad sewing machine. think i got kinda screwed on this deal, gonna toss a new coil in it and see what happens
