Talking 02 Wolverine 25" STI Mud Trax

Just got them and they are great, once I dialed in the air pressure.

Might be harder for slow trail riding, the 350 Wolverine are a high ratio geared ATV even in 1st gear, thats why they can hit 55 mph or more with the same 348cc motor as a 350 Big Bear that is lucky to hit 40 mph.

Nice ATV it was the lightest 4wd ever made at 480lbs, even lighter than the old 250 4x4s like the Timberwolf. 2001 Yamaha Wolverine ATVs

Friend has one,Yamaha was stupid to discontinue them, all they needed was a lower ratio 1st gear and a selectable 2wd/4wd option and I would of bought one without a second thought.

Yeah I love it, I had a 400ex and got stuck all the time. I really wish they didnt discontinue the Warn 4-2-4 unlocker.

If you go to the highlifter website you'll see where they have a breakdown of the big bear/wolverine gear ratios and which gears to swap depending on what setup you want and there is somebody who took the differential from a big bear and threw it on his wolverine. Coupled with the 424 he has 2H/4H/4H w/ dif lock

The guy did what Yamaha should of done, and those improvements would not of caused any weight increase. The 350 Wolverine showed a 4wd ATV could be made under 500lbs.
