Default 07 Sportsman 500 bogging and dying.

My 07 Sportsman 500 X2 has been boogging and dying. Replaced the plug and added fresh gas but it continued bog and this time it backfired a little.

Does anyone know what I should be looking for?

Take a look at the air filter. Hopefully it's something simple like that.

efi, carbureted? if efi sounds like the harness to ur T - Bap sensor has a broken wire. If carbureted, check and see if the boot between the motor and carb is cracked causing an air leak. just spray some starting fluid on it and if the motor revs up, that is ur problem.

Is it throwing a code 41?...readymixer169 is having a similar situation with his 500...might be an air sensor issue...

Thanks for all the info. I cleaned my injector and that took care of the problem. Just had it up to 50mph with no issues!

Start adding some Seafoam to your gas once in a while, it will keep injectors and everything else clean
