Default raptor 350?

I posted this on the sport quad thread but noone said anything so I figured I would put it on the Yamaha Board. First off I am very partial to Yamaha. I am just looking for something reliable that i can trail ride with. I'm not looking for anything extremely powerful because i will probably not be leaving 3rd gear in most of the trails that i ride. I have been looking at the raptor 350 because my dad had an old warrior and he loved it. So basically what I am asking is how reliable are the raptor 350's? I know they are air cooled that is why I am asking. My dad said he never had any problems with his warrior and they are the same engine. I only have about $2200 to work with. So can someone tell me a little about the raptor?

BTW here is 2 links to raptor 350's i have found on craigslist.
2006 Yamaha Raptor This one has some aftermarket stuff. He says it is in excellent condition and runs well. I noticed the rust colored look on the pipe and i am not sure if it is discoloration or not. He said it was but i'm not sure.

2006 Yamaha Raptor 350 Special Edition This one is pretty much brand new.

Thanks.

I have an 06' and I love mine! Very good machine! If you are riding a lot of technical trail you will love it.

I would go for the cheaper one if I were you, looks like he said there is 90% left on the stock tires so its probably barley been ridden, and you get a sh*t load of extras for $200 less!

Late to the post but, given your riding description I'd be searching for a 400ex or Rappy. I prefer the 400ex over the rappy's but, find the best deal. Both are solid, reliable quads.
