Hey folks...

Bro has a MAX not quite sure on the year, but it has the gas tank up front.There is two lines which come from the tank and to me the both appear to be fuel lines. He seems to think that one is a vent because "in the old days they didn't have gas caps with vents". Anyhow, we were riding one day and all you could smell was gas. It was pouring out of one of the hoses coming from the tank. The one that he had running along the bottom of the machine acting as a vent.

Can anyone clear up this dilemma on vent hose or gas hose?.

Any input is greatly appreciated.
