help bent rim
#2
If the damage is not too bad, a sledge hammer or a ball pein will straighten it out enough to hold air. A little extra effort could get it back to almost new. I would suggest a good slug of Slime once the repair is done.

Use a crescent wrench. That is the best thing that i have found yet. Tighten it up on the outside of the rim. Then move it back and forth until the bend comes out. It works really well. I would also put a small rag or cloth between the rim and the crescent wrench. That way you won't scratch the rim. I have bent up my rims pretty bad in the past to where the tire would not hold a bead. I used the crescent wrench technique and it fixed it.
