Default Help 97 express 400 electrical spark

Ok Im still trying to get my 400 express 2 stroke to run. I Had it where it would start last year , But not run worth a crap. This winter i got a carb rebuild kit and rebuilt carb. I tried to start it and it would only spark with the first initail push of the start button literaly one spark . if you hold start button in it keeps cranking but has no spark. If you ease of starter and hit it again the same thing one spark then no spark. I ordered a new cdi and put it on today same thing today when i tried new cdi.

I then took apart handlebar starter buttons and cleaned all contacts on green starter button ,Reverse yellow button and red start stop swithch. none of this helps still the same.

Is it the stator coil internal electrical part?

Also could it be the battery cable soleniod by the battery?

Im at a loss as what to replace next, any advice is greatly apreceated. If i cant get past this issue,I may have to just part it out and buy somthing else.

Well I unplugged the black wire on the cdi box and I have Spark again. Got it started but it still doesnt run or idle right. I plugged black wire in again on cdi and it still has spark again with black wire pluged in. Whats up with this ? it had no spark the other day .

What does it mean when you have bLack wire on cdi unplugged and it fixed the no spark issue?
