Default 2002 DS 650 jetting

Hey guys

I have been looking on the older fourms for my answer but cant find the exact answer im looking for. I need help with my jetting
Im running a k&n air , ct full system exhause with the 12 disk end cap on it, i have the big gun rev box on it and it a stock carb.
Im running the needle on the very top notch and im runnning a 185 main jet and the jet and the needle is from a dyno jet kit. but i just took it out and it was running real lean but i can't increase the main jet, thats the biggest it says to go on the dyno jet kit. I also got a 175 main jet its an oem jet and people says that its larger than the 185 dyno so im not sure if i should try that one in it or not

I live in ottawa ontario canada

thanks

Have you tried adjusting your mixture screw?

Needle clip in the very top position is the leanest it can go. You need to drop the clip position and fatten up the midrange. DJ jets run larger # than comparable stock jet. Do a google search and you can find a Mikuni/DJ cross reference.

Have you read through the OMR stock carb mod sticky at the top of this page?

Do the OMR carb mods and drop to the second from the bottom clip position. You'll like!
