hi all ive got a kazuma meerkat for my son and it was ruing perfect but no its got warmer dont seem to run right. When you rev it then release the throttle it stays at high revs for abit then nomater how i turn the idle screw it wont idle all ive done is fit a brand new spark plug. Would fiting a new cdi help or just take the carb off and give it a good clean out..

 

A new spark plug wont work.....start by cleaning the carb....pay attention to the jets.

Also check for air leaks where the airbox connects. Might also check that the throttle cable isnt binding.

My money is on dirty carb.
