can any one tell me where i can find a carb kit for a 97 scrambler 500 or any that will work. i can only find back to 98 in a scrambler and they do not match. thanks for any help

 

You have the BST38 carb on the 97,the 98 model has the BST40 newer style carb(different float assy and needle valve).BE GLAD, you have the better carb IMO. If you just need the needle valve assy its Polaris #3130531. If your looking for a complete kit then try Tucker Rocky,Parts Unlimited,plus other members probably can give you other places. OPT
