Default Polaris.... Golfcarts????

I was just searching for a part# on polaris's website and I saw something about a neighborhood vehicle, so I clicked on it.... Turns out they're making 48v electric golf carts now!! Anybody know how long they've been doing it? They're pretty basic as far as looks, but they have a jump seat deal that also holds golf bags.... Just thought I'd throw it out there to see how many folks knew it

I think they came out at the same time last year that the electric Ranger EV came out. Probably made in the same assembly line.

wow...I guess it's been a while since I looked around on there website besides looking up/for part #'s... I guess I'm not too surprised with yamaha doing them for several years now, but I guess I just didn't know. I wonder if they make one that's 4wd yet?

Seems that if you'd need a 4wd you probably should'nt be even on a golf course with a golf cart

I know several people that have carts that have never seen a golf course. They have weekly rides through the woods and I'm sure 4wd would be something that some folks would be interested in. Besides that, there's a company that has been building 4wd electric carts for years now called Bad Boy Buggies, and those things are pretty tough!

The government also offers a tax credit of something like 7000 dollars on an electric vehicle. Golf carts and "neighborhood vehicles" qualify. With the taxpayers kicking 7000 bucks towards your Ranger EV or "neighborhood vehicle" and you can see why Polaris is anxious to get into the market.
