Pull the fuel line from the carb,if its pumping out as you turn over, then you may have carb or other problems.Plus this a shim under bucket valve system,I had a couple come in that wouldn't run because valves were too tight. If its been a while since having them adjusted, may need to check into it! Don't know if this could be part of problem?? OPT

maybe fuel pet **** is plugged. don't know if there is a fuel filter or not but can be that. maybe pull hose off petcock and see if fuel will flow out of tank directly?

Check for inline filter blockage to carb, plus make sure the vacuum line from the fuel pump to the carb is in good shape, not split.Plus check fuel cap hose for venting properly.

Fill the radiator first, but leave cap off to make sure all air is purged when fan kicks on, top off radiator, then fill the overflow tank.
