I just bought a 2004 predator 500 for 600$ and the wiring is a mess of cut and taped wires, so i need a new wiring harness to get any of the controls working. I am wondering if a wiring harness off an 06 will work on mine even though they have the reverse stuff and mine doesnt. Will it still work on my wheeler?

Just get the correct harness and install connections from one end to the other as you remove the old harness and won't end up with possible different color wire connections your not sure of. For about 200 bucks plus 600 for the machine,800 bucks isn't bad for a Predator. OPT

 

it will work as long as the conectors are the same and you dont need to hook those up you can just leave them there hooked to nothing ive down a couple at mu work that way

 

it needs more than the wiring harness, it needs a new piston, and crank also. So the harness will work there is just some extra connectors that i can just zip tie to to the frame or whatever?
