Default 04 arctic cat 500 4x4 auto

I have a clicking inside the drive cover that gets louder the faster I go.It happens in low, high and in reverse.I have new prop shafts in it and it does sound like a u-joint going out but the sound is inside the belt drive cover.Any help with this is greatly appreciated.Could it just be a belt issue?
thanks to all

You should remove the cover and have a look. There have been instances where the bearing in the cover has gone out.
While you're in there, clean out all the belt dust and make sure the oil seals are not leaking into the belt area.
The minimum belt width is 1.33 inches

Arctic cats through these year models had an issue with the weights making a clicking. we thought something was wrong with our 02 500, but we took it apart and everything was fine. its probably nothing to worry about.
