Default sold the Sportsmen and bought my 1st Can Am today1

Just wanted to say hello and look forward to moving onto this page from the Polaris page. loved the SP 500 HO but just got tired of not nowing when the next breakdown was going to happen. A freind in my riding crew has an 2010 800 XT-P and after a year and half of riding together he finally let me take it for a spin. That was last Friday night. Woke up today and decided to go purchase the 2011 500 XT in black. Dealer was awsome gave a nice discount from $9200 to $8500, and also gave me a good trade in on the 06 SP $3600, and threw in a nice front cargo pack.
now i have to wait a couple days to get it as it was in a box and needs to be put prep'd. Cant wait! it killing me, so im sitting here looking at all the accessories i get start purchasing.

Eric in CT.

congrats on the new outty! You are aware that your new 500 won't have the same "pop & go" as your friends 800....?The 500 will have plenty of juice for any kind of riding, but there is a huge difference between the 500 & 800. -Very nice atv tho- and welcome to Can-Am

CanAm 500 is great for the trails and gets excellent gas mileage too. As Beergut said, it won't (obviously) be the same as the 800 but other 500 owners will be in the rearview mirrors now.
