Default For a 6 y/o?

We are new to ATVs. Aside from about 20 hours riding in the mountains of Costa Rica, we have little experience. On a whim, we just bought an RZR 800 for Dirt Days on the Hatfield-McCoy Trails in WV with our friends who are serious enthusiasts. We've decided we want an ATV for our 6 y/o. Looked at the RZR 170 but it's more money than we are ready to spend since we just paid cash for ours. I've looked through the forum but right now most of it seems like a different language! Would appreciate any information on starter ATVs for the little one. We are looking for something he can learn on safely and can use for a year or so. I appreciate it!

Welcome to the forums.
I think a good 50 or 70cc machine is in order.
I found this one::
ATV Riders Forum - ETON 70 For Sale
A eton 70cc mostly stock and fairly priced IMO.

My buddy's 6 year old rides an old Honda Fourtrax 70. It is a great machine for him. In fact my buddy has ridden it with the boy, so for a 70 it has decent power. My 7 year old son has a Chinese made Panterra 90. We've only had it for about 6 weeks but it seems like a decent quad.
