Default 2006 - 500 fis 4x4

Hi All,

Was out riding last night and all seem ok, machine was a little warmer than I would have expected, but i thought it was the time of year. Got to the top of a hill and machine just died. Tried to start it again and I could just hear the starter clicking. Tried the pull start and the cord wouldnt go back in. Pushed the machine home (thank goodness I wasnt very far away) and after about 30 - 40 mins the recoil went back in and I did get it started with the electric starter, but only ran it for a few minutes.

If anyone has any thoughts I would appreciate it.

BB

did you check your oil. Sounds like it was getting low and shut off due to metal expanding then once it cooled off for 30 min. it contracted and was able to move again.

10w40. it has to be wet clutch safe. Just use arctic cats oil to be sure if you cant find it in other stores.
