cooling fan want come on hot light starts flashing full of coolant . put new fan in and still nothing,the water temp senser has two wires going to it, i thaut maybe i hook the two together it would tern the fan on and it does not. still trying to find my problem.

 

Not sure if it is the same as the old ones but you should be able to test it. I am sure it works with the same idea. Pull it out and test it in hot water and see if the resistance changes.

 

you should be able to unhook the wire plug off the sensor and w/ the key turned on(not started) the fan should automaticly come on. if not then check to see if theres power to the fan it self.
