Default Odyssey Battery question

Its about time i change the battery in my 2006 Sportsman 800. Has anybody installed a Odyessy battery in a Sportsman. If so i noticed the terminals are on the side, and is there enough clearance for the positive cables? Thanks

Not sure how they covered the battery on the sportsman. I know on our old trail boss, blazer and magnum the cover for the top would not go back over it if they were side posts.

I think it needs modification. Just get the Deka/Extreem powersports AGM battery its a direct fit and top shelf product.

Find your Deka- East Penn Mfg. (EPM) distributer.

I put the Odyessy in mine and it fit fine. I turned it in it's side with the terminals facing out. It makes hooking or unhooking the cables very easy. The only change I made was to move my -cable to the same spot on the frame, but on the right side.
