I hope you don't think 2800 miles on a 04 is high mileage , I'v done almost 1000 miles this spring already .

2002 sp700

I had about 4,000 miles and 460 hrs on the old steed when i sold it.

I had replaced the hall sensor (twice), the carb boot, one tie rod end, rear prop shaft U- joint and ball joints also mutiple CV boots.

That thing was a tank compaired to my new 850XP.

guy down the street from me has an older (maybe an 03) polaris sp with 9000 miles on it- still has the factory belt in it! Funny thing is, he's a hunter and rides that thing through all the trails, never cleans it- looks like a beater- but it's always running and driving...

the 600 is a real touchy machine... I have heard there is a LOT of problems with them... It seems they have a hard time firing both cylinders at the same time. At least that what I have heard. I have never owned a 600 but the one that I rode sure did idle rough... A lot rougher than my 700

My 05 Sportsman 700 had 4,300 miles on it when I sold it and the only fix I hade to make was a fuel injector and starter/cylinoid
