i have an 05' kodiak 400 everything was running great until i removed the battery and then re-intalled it. my reverse light never worked and now it wont go out. the bike starts great and runs fine at slow speeds but when i apply full throttle is bogs out like im not getting proper fuel. this is my first quad and i assumed the fuel filter might be pluged (but there is none) and now im lost. Please help

I'm having the same type of problem with my kodiak. It is a 2003 kodiak 400 and it starts up great. Idles great. Runs and drives good down the road at 80% throttle or so but you give it full throttle and it feels like it is restricted and boggs down. This even killed my 4 wheeler while riding over weekend. I was able to start back up and go back to house but on way back while slowing down it backfired on me. Why is it restricted at full throttle and bogg its self down killing the motor? Does anyone know? This is my first 4 wheeler it is 2wd. If anyone can give me any ideas on what to check or replace please let me know. Thanks
