Just wondering if any one has an Alba Pipe Kit? What are your thoughts on the kit,good or bad. I can't do a lot to my bike ,I had to buy an extended warranty 4yrs.The shop is going to let me put a pipe and jet kit in with out voiding my warranty.Are would you buy a Ron Woods pipe and jet kit? I'd go with a tuneable supertrapp type system.

The only problem I have is with the nuts that hold the header to the cylinder head they tend to work loose.

 

At this point I'm leaning towards a White Brothers E-Series. They make it for the DS, it's a slip on with no header. I've seen these pipes, and the fit and finish is second to none. The noise is always very easy compared to other pipes. Additionally these pipes are tunable just like Scooby was suggesting. Previously I was considering a couple of others, but due to fit and finish problems and/or noise problems I believe the E-Series may be the way I go. I'm also not planning to add the pipe until after my factory warranty is over with so I've got pleanty of time to change my mind.

 

blackhawk,i read that the e-series was the best 4 the 400ex in dirt wheels pipe shoot-out.it beat all the other big names and i mean all of them.i think thats the best choice myself.

 

BlackHawk I ceramic coated the stock header and have Graydon Proline silencer. If you due this make sure you remove the gasket on the short pipe.
