Pulling the Sled-Contest

I am just wondering what tire setup works the best, not looking for unproven feelings, just wondering if anyone has any real experience with different tires.
For me, I use the AG tires in the mud and they do great, but how about pulling a sliding weight sled?
The Carlisle tires (OEM) work fine but feel they are lacking for actual contest useage.
