I friend of mine did me a favor and found this plow for me

Problem is that it does not fit my 2008 Sportsman. I would like to sell it but I have absolutely no idea what year polaris it fits when I list it. Anyone have any ideas?

 

First, you probably don't have to get rid of the plow. You just need to get a mounting bracket that fits your Sportsman. However, you do need to know what model the plow is. I'm not sure if it's actually a Polaris plow or if someone just slapped a Polaris sticker on it. Maybe someone else can help with that.

 

Looks to be the older Pure Polaris easy lift plow system. Check with your dealer to be certain but you may just need the easy lift plow mount for your model.

 

Thanks for the help guys. I tried to slide it under my 2008 but the lifting handle does not come out from the side enough to clear the body. This is why I was hoping to identify it so I can at least list it correctly in the local paper.

 

Definitely a polaris set-up. Looks like pre-04. The blade will fit any polaris mount.
