Default 2008 Arctic Cat 366 Clutch issues

Went for a ride a while back and as I was gassing it, the belt blew. Rolled it back to my house, put a new belt on and figured everything would be fine. Took it for a ride and the belt was making some awful vibrating noises. Tore it apart again and saw that the secondary drive pully wasn't opening equally. The pulley was opening up all wonky and causing the belt to wobble and vibrate. Pulled the secondary off and one of the rollers (there are three) on the helix was turning much more stiffly than the others. Would this cause the pulley to open unevenly? I would assume so. I don't want to have to pay for an entire new secondary if I can just change the roller/pin it sits on. Is this possible? If so, where could I find the part? Also, how hard would it be to do this? I just bought this thing as a holdover last year and have BARELY had a chance to ride it. I would really love some help. Thanks in advance!

Would anything else in the secondary cause this issue?

A bad roller can effect clutch performance. Usually it will just flat spot the roller and cause the cltuch to open and close slower. But it could be having an effect on it. Also check any bushings for ware and to make sure there arent any parts or strings from the old belt stuck anywhere in the clutch. Unfortunately the Arctic Cat parts fiche doesnt show that you can get the roller seperately. You might want to check with Kymco because I beleive Kymco makes the 366 for Arctic Cat and you might be able to get the part from them.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions. I have a Kymco dealer just down the street from me, I will give them a call.

Thanks a lot!

I just read a post about a 400 cats that the guys were saying Arctic Cat were doing some warranty work on. If yours was bought as a new hold over it should have some warranty on it, might be worth a call to the AC dealer. Then try Kymco from there. You might be able to find some that has a used clutch or have a machine shop make a roller for you also.
