Default 850 oil

I changed my oils on my 09 850. Question is
The oil that came out of the front differential
Was fairly dark in color. Seemed to be pretty clean, free of debris. What have you guys noticed on your machines?

Thanks

I wouldn't be too worried about it. My Hawkeye's oil wasn't black, but it was pretty cloudy. However, it felt kinda gritty too. Hope someone more experienced sees this.

If the front gear case oil has been in there awhile then yes it will be a little dark. But seems like the older ones for example, the old hub activated awd systems the oil drained a lot of times as clean as what I put back in,BUT the hub oil would be black and nasty! The gear case on these models were a lot simpler and ran cleaner. I wouldn't be alarmed if its a little dark. Just keep it changed regularly. Normal for it to be a little off colored as all the awd parts are in the gear case! OPT
