Default Front Gear Drive Fluid

I just got an 07' 500EFI. I have some Polaris front gear drive fluid (2571653) which is probably 2 years old. Will this work for the front diff or do I need to get some of the Premium demand drive fluid? It does not have the ADC.

I believe this the old Demand Drive hub fluid number and should be ok.(2871653 hub fluid and 2871654 was the old gear case fluid number?? These should be in the 8 ounce bottles. You can tell the difference real quick, one is thin and other like 80/90 gear fluid. BUT if in doubt, just get the new stuff!! OPT

The new Polaris fluid is Demand Drive Plus. It works for both the demand drive and adc fluid.

Had the numbers backward!! 2871653(GL5 rated 80/90 type) is for the gear case on the old hub activated system, can't use in yours! Just get the DDPlus as mentioned. OPT

I think the gear drive fluid (8 oz. bottle) is what I used in my 06' 500 front diff. It is thin but 2+ yrs. old. I'll just pick up some fresh new fluid tomorrow before Polaris changes numbers/fluid again.
