Default 05 Scramber issue's

ok from the beginning, went riding 2 weeks ago,the throttle locked up closed (thank god) i tore it apart and the 2 screws that hold the cable housing on the carb came out and jammed everything up.

so i always would get a few drips of gas out of the over flow so while i had it tore apart i cleaned the carb it wasnt real bad.

so today i put the cable on and got enough back together to make sure it would run and it did, did my final put together and fired it up, got the cable adjusted and the Idle runs perfect.

Till i start to ride it when i get on the throttle..it dies out like its not getting fuel. and i still get a few drips of gas out of the over flow, so i deffinetly need to replace the neeedle, but whats some things that cause a starving for gas? could it be the float in the carb and bad needle valve?

thanks.
