I have no idea myself. I would go to a Polaris parts site and type in your ATV info and then look up the crankcase assembly and look for the "drain plug" in the parts listing followed by the location number for the parts pictorial......or somebody will chime in with an answer.......NoJoke

This big bolt on the side should be the transmission drain plug(19mm Or 3/4" will work) Use Polaris AGL for the trans OR equivalent oil suitable for this transmission. The oil tank at the front of the atv does not drain, just keep it topped off with 2-stroke injector oil. There are 5/16" allen bolts in the front hubs to drain the hub fluid. Add fluid at 12 o'clock position(Polaris Demand Drive Plus) then turn to 3 or 4 o'clock position to drain excess(can leave a little extra, won't hurt) then replace plugs. Only other fluid is the brake fluid. In case of gas contamination in the engine, there is a small 10 mm drain bolt at the bottom center of engine. OPT

There is NO motor oil in the engine !! The 2-stroke oil in the front tank mixes with the gas and lubricates the engine as it runs! OPT

ok thanks. we kept forgetting that we are dealing with a two stroke engine. I have one more question. (i apologize for all the questions ive never owned or worked on a quad nor a two stroke engine before so this is all new to me) you mentioned draining the hubs. can you tell me where the hubs are located?
