Hey Guys, I am really hoping someone here has an answer. My dad has an 05 650 twin cat quad. He was driving one day and when he got off it idled down and almost stalled. He drive it again for five minutes or so and when he got off it idled down and then quit for good. No spark at all. He changed CDI, stator, wiring harness, kill switches and tested the tip sensor and coils and they are working fine.

To date, still no spark. On top of everything his old stator and CDI checked out fine on other quads.

Today he changed out the wiring harness and still had no spark. Does anyone have any ideas? He is pretty much stumped at this point. He is wondering if he has a bad ground somewhere....

 

The magnets may have fallen off the flywheel, check that.

I guess he tried that already...still no spark. Man he is stumped

 

New spark plug installed?.

 

Spark tester on sparkplus wire....
but yes tried firing with spark plug as well

 

did he check the fuse in the fuse box?
