Where do you guys mount your ATV plates?

I just got my Out of State resident plate from Massachusetts because CT sucks,and was wondering if you mount it in the front or rear of your ATV?What did you hold it on with?Thanks

You must mount it on the rear.
Where? Good question...find a place.

I just held it up to the plastic on the rear fender and drilled two small holes, then used a couple good rubber gaskets and some locking nuts...put it there... I think if you do a search on the web there are a couple folks that manufacture plate holders, but they look rather cheap.

mount it on your body armour

that way you can use it on what ever bike you own!!!

......probably doesn't work like that in the states though.....just ignore me

I mounted mine about where the rear shock mounts on mine warrior. That way you can only see it if you look REALLY hard. Keeps me out of trouble and it is legal.

another ? do you carry your registration with you I know someone who does and its a real pain

If we could post pictures, I'd show you how clean it looks mounted right below the plastic on the mud flap area of my Rancher.

As far as registration, look at it this way. Rarely are you going to need it, but it is required...I just keep my registration and insurance papers folded up in a film case that I duct taped into the sidewall of my little rear trunk-box... I HAVE been checked, no problems, just a Police Officer who didn't know they are street legal until he called it in.

Me and my friend will be going to Otis in the Tolland state forest I guess.Do you know any good areas near the Otis area?Thanks
