The 27's fit the 12" rim on my Kodiak 450. And I also gain 3" of ground clearence. I have the ITP SS108 12" wheels with ITP 27" 589's.

Let me rephrase that..the 27s he has only fit a 10 inch rim..will a grizzly 450 take a 10inch rim? And where can I get a 10 inch rim for my 450?

A 10 inch wheel will not clear your brakes or suspension components on a 450 Grizzly. Just to further prove this, even 12 inch front wheels from a 2005 Yamaha Wolverine will not clear the front brake caliper on a Grizzly 450.
