Default Starting problems

My Jackel 250R will not turn over. I know it has to be in neutral to start and when I put it in neutral the light never comes on. It is in neutral cause it will roll but for some reason it's like it doesn't recognize it being in neutral so that it will start. Any suggestions??

have you tinkered with the neutral switch itself? down on the transmission? trace the wires and check all of the connections too.

spray contact cleaner or a dry moly lubricant. that may help the switch operate more freely. good luck!
