Default 1996 yamaha kodiak 400

I have a problem with my 96 yamaha kodiak. The problem is a poping/ clicking sound on the left front tire area i cant find out what is wrong. I am thinking it is the bearings or something to do with the 4 wheeldrive. someone please help me.

is it when you turn? or straight? more one way turning than the other? it its worse turning one way than the other sounds to me like a cv joint for the 4 wheel drive

I agree, look to see if you have any torn boots on your CV joints, any water or dirt that gets in will make short work of the joint. But clicking/popping is a classic symptom of a CV joint going bad.
