Now that winter is hopefully on its way out I will be looking for some spring riding gear. I notice I have much less protection on the Raptor than on my utility Quad. I am basically interested in whats working for other riders. I prefer not to spend $300.00 for gortex bibs and have them tore up by briars. Is there a lightweight waterproof flexible pant or Bib that will hold up to the snags associated with trail riding. I dont mind spending $100.00 to $150.00 thanks for any replys in advance.

Check out the riding gear from MSR. I have one of their jackets and it's great. Not waterproof, but very water resistent, and affordable. I paid about $125 Canadian, so if should be much cheaper in the US.
