The carb on my sons polaris 50 is all messed up. I bought another one just to try. Where are the screw settings supposed to be at. I am looking for a starting point for both screws. Thanks guys.

 

OK got the cheep reproduction carb on. The atv starts up. I set the idle screw. I am playing with the other screw and nothing seems to change much. The atv idles but when i give it gas it tries to cut out. Any ideas? I did change the fuel filter just to see if it was starving for gas. Not the solution... I am at a loss...

 

Not sure if you are talking about a 2 stroke or not. If it is 2 stroke, the air screw is supposed to be 3/4 out.

Have you checked the vent line from the gas tank? If it is closed off you will not get fuel.
