I use good quality oils that are sold at my local ATV shop.
If it is an automatic transmission then you are flexible with oil brands
as it wont have a wet clutch to deal with.
If it is a standard transmission with a wet clutch then you need an oil suitable for wet clutch that doesnt have anti friction additives
that can hinder clutch performance.

"U" joint greasing.
I have 2 kodiaks and both in the beginning were a big pain in the *** to get the joints greased.
2 of the fittings were no problem , but the other 2 were impossible
untill i bought a little nozzle that went onto end of gease gun hose.
The other end is a tappered point.
You stick that point into the little ball bearing of the fitting and presto.
For the front inner shaft joint you have to remove one of the front tires.
Go to Princessauto.com the item number is 8264913
"grease tip needle adapter"
It is actually a little longer than it appears in book.
