Default 2003 Warrior 350 Smoking

Hey, Had a question about a 2003 Yamaha Warrior 350 I just bought. I bought the bike cheap, and it has a few upgrades ( Jetted aftermarket carb, aftermarket exhaust ). My question is, the guy I bought it from said that it smokes because the engine is runnign rich, and the carb needs to be adjusted. I knew that it had to be more. What are the obvious symtoms... New Piston rings ( assuming nothing is scorched ) and new valve seals? Thanks in advance. Also it's white smoke coming out of the exhaust, and it's pretty much a smoke screen.

White smoke usually indicates coolant....

what does it smell like?

I'll let you know tomorrow.... BUT... If it is a coolant smell, wouldn't it point towards a head gasket issue?.... And I believe Warrior's are air cooled

There is oil on the exhaust itself.... The smoke is bad only at idle, kind of backs of when you're riding.

Warriors dont have coolant, most likely valve stem seals or something.

White smoke is oil. Check your compression and look for oil in exhaust.
