I found a blaster everythings there apart from no engine or trans for €250 but could probably bargain down

My question is what engines could I get for the blaster like any 2stroke scrambler engines fit in with none or minimal mods I can find a engine but needs a piston for €150 but then thought there's no fun in that,I'll get a bigger one
Any suggestions?

 

What year is the blaster? Makes a big difference, also is the swing arm in good condition or is it cracked in the cross brace, also are the ball joints good? Lots to look at. And if you build a blaster right it is a monster. My son races one in cross country racing against 400's and 450's and has no problem getting 1st thru 3rd everytime. New engine coming for 2012 season from Herr Jugs Racing

 

Oh I thInk iTs an 02 model and it looks in good shape the swingarm I found a guy selling blaster spares looking 30 for it and I'll be sure to ask about the ball joints

Around $2200.00 but again that is not your standard blaster engine. You can find a running blaster engine for around $500.00. Good luck with it.
