Just curious what u guys like and dislike about your machine? i rented a grizzly 350 last year and really liked it, looking to buy something this spring.

 

I ride with both a 350 Grizzly and 450 Grizzly. If you like the The 350 Grizzly you will defiantly love the 450.

The 450 has the features of the big boys. What it has over the 350 Grizzly is a IRS rear suspension, no drum rear brake, a larger 420cc liquid cooled motor vs the 350's air cooled 348cc, and it has a low range option and true AWD diff lock which the 350 does not.

my 450 grizzly is awesome. i would buy another one just like it if i needed another one. it does everything i need and want it to do and more. the dealership wanted to sell me the big boys 600-700cc machines. i stuck to my guns and said that i wanted the 450cc. WOW, i don't regret the decision. fast, nimble, reliable, tough, and keeps coming back for more. it's my favorite! good luck!

 

got a 450 Kodiak and the same as the grizzly and love the machine, it has never left me stranded. I use it mostly for hunting and it does everything from pulling dic's to dragging deer out of the woods. Also has been know to pull up some stumps around the house.
It is truly a work horse of a machine, I don't think you would regret getting one.

I have a 2006 Kodiak 450i, and my wife has a 2011 grizzly 450 EPS. The EPS is simply amazing, and if I were shopping for a new machine, it would be mandatory. The Kodiak has been great, though. It is reliable, strong, and nimble.
I do not like that the engine's are both rough sounding, and a bit loud for my taste. The shocks also have way too much compression damping for casual trail riding. The shocks on the new grizzly 450 are not even adjustable for spring preload - the shocks on the Kodiak are. After market shocks are expensive, and hard to come by, so i wish that they came with better quality stock shocks.
Overall, there is not another mid-sized machine that can compare to the 450 Yamaha's.

Yes, I looked there, and again, no Kodiak 450 or Grizzly 450 applications are listed. They have Gizzly 550 and 700's listed, and even Wolverines.

EPS is a godsend for ute quads, as far as I'm concerned!! And Yamaha's system is the best I have found so far....

 

Sounds like Yamaha has hit the nail on the heads with the Eps, and being able to get it on a base machine, or an LE model.
