What are people running for sprockets? I read that 13/41 will eliminate the !st being a little to tall problem (up form 12/40 stock)

13/40 is stock. I am running 12/42 now with the factory tires and I like it. Am mounting up my 22" RAz'rs this afternoon to try this weekend. I will see how I like the gearing with the taller tires.

i put an 11/40 on w/ the stock tires and was right where i wanted to be for woods/climbing.
i've since put 22/razrs on the rear and it bumped me back into the "to tall" dillema. the extra ground clearance w/ the 22's is great, but to get it where i want it i'll have to go to a 42 in the rear and shim the skid plate loosing some of the
ground clearance. youll also notice w/ the 22's,
your quad feels "jacked up" in the rear. i had to take some off the preload in the rear to make it sit level again.

What kind of skid plate do you have? I have a PRM and my 42 fit fine, I saw where someone else put a 43 on with the PRM skid without shimming it.

I used a Renthal sprocket.

I run a sprocket specialties 504-12 for general riding, and a 504-11 for the dunes. the 11 tooth sprocket is real hard on chains, but you have a wide range of low end gearing with a limited top end. The 12 tooth will give you a handfull of bike (with a stock swingarm) and still give the big dogs a run for their money.
