Hi guys, I just got this quad and i tried trouble shooting the problem but i really could use some help on how the electric works for the brake and the tail light. So theres two wires black and blue, the ground which is white and a brown wire with is tan. I changed the bulb and it still dosent work. ANY HELP??

 

Test the socket with an amp meter to see if it has power.
Fuses?

 

Not sure on the colors, but you'll have a ground wire, one for the brake and one for the tail light itself. (should be on when key is on)

Just to be sure, are you using a multi filament bulb?

 

so i figured out that theres two wires coming out of the quad, black and blue, the black is ground and the blue is hot. On the case of the light it says that the bigger bulb which is red is the turn,stop light and the tan(small bulb) is the tail light. But when i press the brake nothing happens. Is it possible the quad dosent have a brake light?? or am i wiring it wrong.

 

What kind and size of atv do you have? Not all atv have brake lights!!!!
