2011 Sportsman 850 XP (Non EPS) Question
#1
Hello,
I know this has probably been discussed many times, but I recently found a great deal on the 2011 Sportsman 850 XP (Non EPS) and I wanted to make sure I'm making the right decision on making this large purchase. I have heard issues such as 'Oil in the air box' and 'Belt slipping'. I'm a newbie so I am not sure if these are big concerns or small ones. If I come across these problems are they capable of ruining my motor? Also, are they an easy fix? Please advise and feel free to offer any other information you have acquired.
Thanks in advance.

I own an 850 xp and haven't had oil in the airbox. You will know soon if it is going to happen. I can't remember what the part is but it is just on backwards from the way I understand it. I am not aware of any belt problems with them, especially the 11's and newer. They are one of only a few stock models that can spin 32'' sivlerbacks. The only concern would be if you are a newbie the 850 is a beast so if you buy it take it easy to get used the power.
