Default 2007 Polaris 500EFI Dead/ECU?

I just borrowed a co-workers 07 500EFI, Put it on the trailer towed it 5 miles and It was dead.
2 Day of trouble shooting !%&*^&@%#@
The rig is 100% dead no disply no nothing.
First the kill switch is on.
I cleaned up all the battery connections, starter connections and solenoid.
Still nothing.
I took the ECM or PDM out from in front of the radiator, took the back cover off, it was clean as new no indications of anything smoked.
Replaced the battery, with a known good one. Nothing.
I left the key on while I was putting the boy back together and noticed that the fuel pump would kick on and off and the LCD display would come on and then die.
I patiently waited for the display and fuel pump to activate, and was able to pull start the unit twice, and then it would die ???
From all the previous threads it appears that the ECU or PDM died?
I called a couple dealers for some direction (They are real quick to say bring it in for a diagnostic, for what appears to be a known problem)
I know that this machine is not covered under the ECU Recall.

Is it the PCM or ECU in front of the radiator? Different sites show different parts ?

ANY help would be much appreciated !!!!!
I would like to give the rig back running !!!

Thanks.

Pdm(or control module) is in front of the radiator, the ecu (or brain box) module closer to the steering post
Pdm caused most of the problems. OPT
